It was mentioned a few weeks back that the Ning team were working on updates to the forum module. Is there any news on this - rough date and / or proposed changes?

Hi Phil!

Yep, we're working on some changes to the forum, including a new default view and the option to choose single-threaded (or flat) discussions. These improvements are currently slated to be released with the next major network release after Monday's.
